Just Say “Moo”

Okay. I’m just going to say the thing we are all thinking. Any of you other pregos feel like a gosh damn cow?    I know I do and I don’t care if its because I am “carrying a miracle” I don’t like the feeling. I mean just call be Bessie why don’t you.  It only makes it worse when good ol’ facebook likes to rub it in my face with pics from a year ago popping up when I was hot and in shape. Kick a cow when they’re down why don’t they!? Smh.

I know, I know  it’s not like I am getting fat just because of poor life habits… I am actually growing a person up in there. But it still sucks. I have only gained 15lbs and I am almost 23 weeks which is technically on track, but it might as well be 50.  My arms have wings, my ass has reached Kardashian whale stage, and my thighs rub so much I sound like a traveling thunderstorm.  Sure I indulge occasionally but nothing crazy.

Could I be more active? Sure. That is the area I struggle in most which is funny because I worked out every day leading up to my wedding with no issue. Maybe its because of the thunder thighs, swollen ankles, or the fact that I get of breath in 10 seconds. Or the fact that I just plain don’t want to sweat more than I do already.

I mean I try to avoid mirrors, but I can thank my prior vain hot version of myself for putting mirror every- freakin-where in my house! Every time I see my prego reflection I cry a little inside. Not because I am not happy I am pregnant but because I am scared to death my old body won’t ever come back!  I mean they say that if you breast feed it helps the weight come off which is good but I am too impatient!

Thank god for iphone apps that can help lessen your fat prego ass that’s all I have to say. 🙂

Now that the weather is nicer here in Chicago, I hope to get out for more walks and get some energy back so I can not gain more than 25-30 lbs tops!! I also ordered a prego workout DVD below. I will let you know how it is. Ugh- I have to get off the couch to actually do this right?
